Engage@Turing Doctoral Showcase - Privacy and Security
The Engage@Turing initiative was set up following the cancellation of the 2020/21 Enrichment Scheme, to provide enrichment offer holders with the opportunity to access training and form connections with the Turing research network remotely. In order to help build connections with our community, the Engage@Turing students are organising a showcase on Friday 19 February with 2 sessions running in parallel at the following time: 10:30-11:30, 11:30-12:30, 13:30-14:30

Session 3b - 13:30 - 14:30 Privacy and Security (theme)

Each student slot will last 10 min and will run in the following order (student name and research title):

Teddy Cunningham - Location data sharing and synthesis with differential privacy
Kimberly Mai - Anomaly detection for x-ray security images
Jason Gray - Building an advanced persistent threat malware dataset from open-source intelligence
Kate Highnam - Addressing Domain Adaptation in Cyber Security (Intrusion Detection)

Please note you are not required to attend the entire hour, and you can drop in for specific Q&As.
